Dylan De Bruin

I bring over two and a half years of experience in the yachting industry, having worked onboard both 35m and 46m motor yachts in private and charter operations throughout the Mediterranean. Most recently, I was part of the new build delivery and inaugural season of M/Y Cabana (35m), where I played a key role in setting up the deck department, managing inventory, and assisting with final outfitting alongside the shipyard. Following delivery, I contributed to full seasonal operations, including watchkeeping, tender driving, watersports, anchoring, and all aspects of deck maintenance. Prior to this, I worked onboard M/Y Medially (46m) as a Deckhand/Assistant Engineer, gaining valuable dual-department experience. This included extensive shipyard periods and hands-on involvement in winter maintenance programs, as well as supporting the Chief Engineer with routine checks and minor maintenance. This experience has provided me with a solid understanding of both deck operations and engine room support. In addition to my yachting background, I have a strong foundation in hospitality as a PADI Staff Instructor, which has equipped me with excellent guest interaction skills and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, service-driven environments. I am a hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards onboard and contributing positively to team dynamics. I am eager to continue developing my skills and growing within a professional and motivated crew.
