Dear Recruiter, I am a motivated and hardworking Deckhand currently based in Antibes and available to join immediately. I hold STCW Basic Safety Training, ENG1, Powerboat Level 2, PWC, and First Aid certification, and I am looking for a permanent position where I can continue building my career in the yachting industry. Over the past months, I have gained practical experience through daywork onboard several motor yachts ranging from 35m to 52m. Most recently, I completed a 21-day period onboard a 52m motor yacht, where I supported both maintenance and guest operations. My responsibilities included exterior washdowns, stainless steel polishing, detailing, tender cleaning, engine room and bilge cleaning, anchoring, mooring, line handling, fender deployment during docking and berth changes, beach club setup, and assisting guests with Seabobs and other water toys. These experiences have given me a solid understanding of the professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail required onboard luxury yachts. Prior to entering yachting, I spent two years working in professional vehicle detailing, where I developed excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining exceptional presentation standards. I also have a strong sailing background, holding FF Voile Level 4 certification with more than 100 hours sailing sport catamarans. In addition, I competed in swimming for many years and achieved the qualifying "A" standard, an experience that developed the discipline, resilience, teamwork, and physical fitness that I bring to every role. I am reliable, adaptable, and eager to continue learning from experienced crew while contributing positively from day one.
