Terms and Conditions

These terms govern access to and use of the GoMonkeyMate platform, a marketplace connecting maritime professionals (crew and service providers) with companies, agencies and yacht owners.

• Registration and access to the platform are free for crew, companies, agencies and service providers.
• You must be of legal age and have the capacity to accept these terms.
• The data you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for the activity on your account.

• All GoMonkeyMate features are currently free: no payments or subscriptions are processed.
• We charge no commissions for hiring or for putting parties in contact.
• If paid plans are introduced in the future, they will be announced in advance and these terms updated before they apply.
• No change will affect a service already contracted without your consent.

• GoMonkeyMate facilitates the connection between professionals and companies but is not party to any employment or commercial contract agreed between them.
• We do not guarantee hiring or the availability of professionals or companies.
• Users agree not to use the platform for fraudulent, unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe third-party rights.
• We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that breach these terms.

GoMonkeyMate performs a manual review of certificates uploaded by crew. The “verified” badge indicates the documents have been reviewed, but does not constitute official certification nor replace the employer's own checks.

All platform content (design, code, text and trademarks) is the property of GoMonkeyMate. Users retain rights over the content they upload (CV, certificates, photos) and grant us permission to display it on the platform for the purpose of providing the service.

We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Spanish data protection law. You can find full detail on how we collect, use and protect it —and exercise your rights of access, rectification and erasure— in our Privacy Policy.

GoMonkeyMate is not responsible for employment or commercial relationships arising between platform users. We act as a technology intermediary, not an employment agency.

We may modify these terms; changes will be communicated by email and take effect 30 days after notification. These terms are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Spain.
