These terms govern access to and use of the GoMonkeyMate platform, a marketplace connecting maritime professionals (crew and service providers) with companies and yacht owners.

2. Registration and accounts

• Crew registration is free and without commitment.
• Companies require an active subscription to access the full catalog.
• Data provided must be accurate and up to date.
• Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials.

3. Plans and payments

• Prices are shown including VAT.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month.
• You can cancel at any time from your dashboard.
• No commissions are charged for hiring or contact.

4. Use of the platform

• GoMonkeyMate facilitates the connection between professionals and companies but is not party to the employment contract.
• We do not guarantee hiring or the availability of professionals.
• Users agree not to use the platform for fraudulent purposes.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Profile verification

GoMonkeyMate performs manual verification of certificates uploaded by crew. The verified badge indicates that documents have been reviewed, but does not constitute official certification nor replace the employer's own verification.

6. Intellectual property

All platform content (design, code, text, trademarks) is the property of GoMonkeyMate. Users retain rights over the content they upload (CV, certificates, photos).

7. Limitation of liability

GoMonkeyMate is not responsible for employment or commercial relationships arising between platform users. We act as a technology intermediary, not an employment agency.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Changes will be communicated by email and will take effect 30 days after notification.
