About us
Made by sea people, for sea people. The platform the industry was missing.
Why GoMonkeyMate?
The yachting sector moves thousands of professionals every season — captains, engineers, chefs, stewardesses, maintenance technicians, shipyards, suppliers. But finding the right professional (or the right job) remains a slow, fragmented process with no tools built specifically for the nautical industry.
GoMonkeyMate was born to change that. A specialised visual catalogue where crew registers for free, agencies showcase their portfolio, and companies access talent with a fixed monthly fee. No surprises, no hidden percentages.
We cover 129 specialized crew positions and over 140 maritime service categories, across more than 165 real ports in 12 regions worldwide — from Palma de Mallorca to Fort Lauderdale, from Dubai to Sydney.
No commissions
Fixed monthly fee. We don't charge a percentage for hiring or being hired.
Real verification
Every certificate goes through manual review. Nothing is auto-approved.
Direct contact
Direct contact between company and professional. No extra steps, no friction.
For the whole sector
Crew, technical services, refit, operations, consulting — all in one place.
Based in the Mediterranean
We operate from the heart of the Mediterranean, but cover ports worldwide. We know the industry because we live in it.
Join nowA platform built by industry professionals
GoMonkeyMate is not a venture capital project disguised as a yacht marketplace. It was born from a very concrete need: after ten seasons operating in the Mediterranean — hiring crew, managing refits and negotiating with charter operators — we realised the industry needed a specialised digital platform that was fast, transparent, and built for how the sector actually works.
We built GoMonkeyMate to do one thing well: make the right connection between the right professional and the right company, at the right moment, with a flat-fee model and no per-transaction percentage. That's why the crew side is and will remain free — we believe access to quality jobs should never depend on your ability to pay a subscription — and every company, agency, or service provider pays a flat fee for operational tools.
Our roadmap for 2026 focuses on the Mediterranean pilot (Palma, Ibiza, Barcelona, Monaco, Antibes) and will expand to the Caribbean and Atlantic in the second half of the year. Every feature we ship is validated with real yacht crew, captains, and shipyard managers before shipping. No lab theory, no generic SaaS patterns — only what actually works in our sector.
