Dear Captain / Hiring Team, If you’re looking for a stewardess who genuinely enjoys making people feel looked after, loves the details, and can keep smiling when things get busy — I may be the person you’re looking for! I’m a South African Stewardess/Masseuse with experience on both private and private/charter yachts, including a 139m private yacht and a 55m motor yacht. My time onboard has taught me that yachting is all about the little things: a perfectly turned-down cabin, a spotless interior, remembering a guest’s preferences, and somehow making everything look effortless even when there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. On M/Y Al Salamah, I worked across four decks maintaining high housekeeping standards, from deep cleaning guest cabins and Royal Suites to laundry, amenities, uniforms, crew areas and turn-down service. I also provided Swedish massage and Foot Reflexology to guests and maintained the onboard spa area. I was fortunate enough to complete an ocean crossing and assist with preparing the yacht for shipyard, which definitely taught me the value of teamwork, adaptability and getting stuck in wherever needed. My experience on M/Y Taleya added a fun, fast-paced charter element to my background. Alongside housekeeping and massage, I was involved in breakfast, lunch and dinner setups, coffee and cocktails, turn-up and turn-down services, laundry and inventory. Charter life taught me how to stay calm, organised and positive when the pace picks up — while making sure the guests never see the chaos behind the scenes! Before yachting, I also worked as a bartender and hostess, where I developed my customer service skills, cocktail knowledge and ability to work comfortably with people from different cultures. I’m also an internationally qualified Swedish and Foot Reflexology massage practitioner, giving me an additional skill set that I love bringing into the guest experience. I would describe myself as hardworking, easy-going and always willing to get involved. I enjoy being part of a close-knit crew, I’m not afraid of a busy day, and I genuinely like creating a positive atmosphere around me. I also have a creative side thanks to my Graphic Design degree, which has given me a strong eye for presentation and detail. I’m looking for my next opportunity where I can continue learning, contribute to a great crew and, most importantly, make sure guests leave the yacht feeling relaxed, spoiled and already planning their next trip.
