Every job shown on this page is active in real time: each sector counter updates with every new posting. Free accounts can have up to 2 simultaneous listings for a maximum of 60 days; Company Basic and Company Premium accounts publish unlimited, permanent listings with higher visibility and a featured profile.
How to post and manage jobs
Posting a job takes less than two minutes: access your dashboard, pick the sector, define the exact position, operating region, optional salary range and write the description. Listings go live after an automatic anti-spam review and appear on the public jobs page, sector feeds and email alerts for subscribed crew.
Candidates contact you directly depending on your plan: accounts with an active subscription can receive internal messages and reveal contact details with no commissions. If you want to expand reach, you can also boost a single job to appear at the top for the first 72 hours — a feature that has tripled the number of qualified applications in our pilot tests across Mallorca and Barcelona.
Frequently asked questions about maritime job listings
Can I post jobs without a paid subscription?
Yes. Free accounts can keep up to 2 active listings at the same time for a maximum of 60 days. If you need unlimited listings with no expiration, the Company Basic plan (€19/mo) includes it.
Do you charge commission if a contract closes?
No. GoMonkeyMate never charges commission on hires made through the platform. We only charge the monthly or annual subscription fee of your chosen plan. 100% of any contract you sign with the professional stays between the two parties.
Which sectors do you cover?
Onboard, shoreside, shipyards, charter operations, management, marinas, brokerage and others. In total we cover 129 crew positions and over 140 maritime service categories across 165+ verified ports.
Can I boost a listing for extra visibility?
Yes. In addition to the natural priority given to Company Premium accounts, you can activate a temporary boost on a single listing. The boost lasts 72 hours and places the listing at the top of its sector and region feeds.
How fast does crew respond to a listing?
It depends on the position and season. In high season (April-September in the Mediterranean, November-April in the Caribbean) you'll receive the first applications in under 24 hours for high-demand roles (chief stew, chef, engineer). For highly specialised positions (ETO, chief engineer on M/Y 70m+) it can take up to a week.
